Signal Boost: call for fanworks

Hi fellow Guardian fans, an upcoming fan-gathering in the US is calling for submissions (fic, vid, art, podfic) for their first convention this summer. It would be GREAT to see some Guardian submissions, grab the opportunity to get more traction for the show in creative multi-fannish spaces. The theme is IGNITE. 

Details for art, fic, and audioworks are here and the deadline is June 30.

That looks like an amazingly cool convention! Man, I wish I could be there. So far I've only ever been to Escapade once (waaaay back when) and I loved it so much...

Are you going to be there?

I doubt I'll get anything suitable written until the deadline rolls around, but if I do I will submit it! Spreading the Guardian virus is a worthy cause. :-)

I cannot go this year but I am dying to go and many people I know are going (so I bet many people YOU know also are going lol) ... you should go Rhea... GO VICARIOUSLY FOR ME PLEASE

I would, if it were a little bit closer to me! Detroit is not exactly around the corner. ;-) But I live in hope, one day I *will* get to go to another convention...

Ignite seems a really suitable topic... *cough* Guardian Lantern *cough*
