I love how thoughtful and emotional this is, at the same time. The subtly repeated theme of Shen Wei wanting to leave but not being able to walk away is particularly beautiful. I love his own awareness of what's changed in his own reactions, both mental and physical, now that he's let Zhao Yunlan too close. Thank you so much for writing and for sharing! ♥
