this playlist is 20 songs about: time, obsession, hope, determination, purehearted love, stoic fatalism, eternity, carpe diem, pretense, realness, otherness, miracles, interiority, places where the world falls off, places where colors run beautifully together, darkness, light, belonging... and other things that really ought to be presented via some thoughtfully written meta, which i'm still not quite capable of doing. the process of putting together this mix had shattered my heart and made me cry repeatedly and also made me wish i could pour the elixir of happiness into the life of a fictional character. fannish love is a terrible, wonderful thing.
