I was looking at this in the subs file this morning and it cracked me up.









For context, by then Lao Chu's face has been plastered all over the media.

So I imagine that in the real world, the dialogue would read more like 'Zhao Yunlan is harbouring a murderer from Dixing and WHAT THE FUCK were you thinking bringing him to us on Reunion Night are you CRAZY?? I touched his creepy doll! I knew that look he gave me wasn't right! Xiao Guo, you're grounded forever!!!

And Uncle Guo hasn't even seen his fridge yet.

I meant Uncle Guo. *g* I mean, I'm mostly just messing about here, but if I'm serious for a moment, the uncle strikes me as the kind of nice, kind, straight-laced guy who might be made thoroughly uncomfortable by having a minor but utterly baffling reaction to Zhao Yunlan's brand of aggressive subby slutty cool guy flirting.
