Guardian Daily Comm

Since I've turned my back on tumblr, I find myself missing the eye candy... so I decided to create a "daily" comm for Guardian.

In LJ/DW terminology, a "daily" community is a community where visual media are posted. (Contrary to the original terminology, I'm not going to fill the community with content myself, though. I'm counting on all of us to fill it up!)

This means everything from single screencaps to fanvids, links to video interviews, from icons to tumblr gif sets, promo photos to pic spams.

If you have created any art/picspams/gifsets on tumblr, I'd be especially happy if you would consider reposting it to guardiandaily.

Note that the community is not restricted to things you have created yourself. Linking - with credit where possible - is expressly allowed. (If this leads to problems, I will deal with it.)

And, yes, of course I didn't intend this as taking traffic away from this comm.

Daily comms are for ogling and squeeing, not discussion. I just wouldn't want the sid to be swamped with daily caps. But bigger things - definitely!

I just wanted to be clear that picspams and fanart and all other kinds of visual media belong over here just as much as discussion-type things. :)
