The former, and also the asymmetric repercussions, in a way: the penalty for Shen Wei punching the guys is greater than the penalty for the thugs punching Shen Wei.

It's not a perfect parallel, but I still meant to say that this gave me a little 'oh' moment. Aww, Shen Wei. <3
