This is so beautiful! I love all of Shen Wei's observations about Kunlun's slight foreignness - what he's drinking, how he's dancing, the words he understands but doesn't quite grasp their colloquial use. I also love how Shen Wei thinks about his power (casually, very matter-of-factly, the way I imagine someone who's lived with it for years would) and your choice of shared hair care as an invitation to spend the night! So convincingly cultural!

Thank you so much! I feel like no matter how hard ZYL tries, he's gonna make some blunders here and there while in the past because it's a whole different time period for him and Shen Wei's a smart cookie so he's definitely gonna notice. He's just operating without the game-changing knowledge that time travel is possible, so his best guess right now is: Kunlun's spent too long all by himself in the distant wilderness and is still becoming re-acquainted with proper civilization, lol.
