Hmm interesting. I hadn't quite framed it in my head as "disembodied energy" but that makes sense. I was thinking that Ye Zun had the power himself to become disembodied and travel to Haixing, but maybe that was just me filling in dots where I shouldn't have been. Is he actually using the power of the Awl for that purpose?
