What even are the sages? In vol 2, during the Tree vision, when Kunlun is dying it says:
Shennong raised his aged eyes to look upon the very last of the Four Sages of the Great Wild.
And chapter 9 starts with a reference to "the great sage Shennong". So are sages and gods the same thing now? I'm never going to get all this. *tears at hair*
