Okay, so you know how Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan's front doors both have handles separate from their locks?
The handle may be rigid (just for pulling) or it may behave like a regular door handle.
The lock may be a deadbolt or a spring latch. (I found this handy thing on wikipedia that gave me terminology. I have not yet found any simple, easy to understand diagrams of the differences, dammit.)
