Ooh, yes. That's a great point, and I love it. (I would really not have been as interested if they'd both been all fancy suits and respectable.) And Shen Wei had no idea what Kunlun would be like when he found him; he must have been expecting someone reasonably high status (though I feel like he'd have guessed ZYL wasn't actually military, especially once he got a feel for what the modern military is like). And except for their very first encounter, Kunlun was always dressed in fine clothes and had the confident bearing of a leader.
