And I'm 100% sure SW would have chosen it, possibly even if a similar opportunity came up somewhere where Kunlun was not involved (he was this desperate to not be a gui anymore imo), but it's not really an informed choice when you don't really have any idea what kind of life the choice comes with.
Yeah. And Kunlun did have an idea what it entailed (but even for him it was different, maybe? Because he was a chaos gremlin, whereas Shen Wei is so responsible that he can't just let things go to to hell (metaphorically)?).
