Like, Shen Wei would never lose interest just because he's not ~young and attractive~ anymore, so I guess ZYL is one of those people whose appearance never really changes as they age. Which is a much better alternative to 'he always/generally dies young'. Which would be on brand, I guess, but nope, I don't like it. :P
