My experience - the elevator is finished dead last. xD I mean, I can't tell if he bought it newly-built or second-hand, but having to do "plumbing, wiring and interior walls" kinda points to newly-built?)
I thought newly-built, too, but all the infrastructure and public parts recently finished with only the interior of the flats still in progress.
??? xD I mean, you do you, I'm happy for you and all, but BETTER THAN THIS is a really funny concept to me. xD
Yeah, and also, buying a place with an "eh, I'll upgrade eventually" attitude is just so foreign to me! That's what renting is for; buying is for (hoped-for, at least) permanence. (Here, anyway, I know it's different in other parts of the world.)

I find the concept of ghosts secretly making out in the library really adorable, but mostly - what do you need protective glasses for in the library? Are they for Zhao Yunlan and his still-not-okay eyes specifically? And what do they protect from?

I assume the "useless underling" was actually working for Ghost Face and not the Magistrate, but the Magistrate doesn't know that.
