I would expect that irl, logically, but everyone was lugging everything to the fifth floor without an elevator, and then when absolutely everything was finished, the elevator finally joined the party. xD Obviously that's literally the most anecdotal evidence ever, I'm sure it can happen in any order at all, depending on the place. :) And yeah, I was also thinking that maybe ZYL's place was second-hand but he gutted everything and started from scratch.

I think he'd definitely need to be happy and finally have a good life before he could use his smarts for anything other than killing more people, but if he had that, he could do amazing things! And he still can, he's a ghost, he has A LOT of time to grow. :D
