Right, but in the novel, it's ALL personal, which makes me feel like the drama is more personal, too. (I am so bad at compartmentalising. /o\)

Yeah. It's much better when Shen Wei is asserting himself too. (Which I think is something the drama writers understood, and that's why they had that little moment of "disapproving Envoy" in the YOHE caves when they encountered each other for the second time. ;-p)
