When I originally watched, solo hadn't yet done their amazing project, and Guardian wasn't on Viki yet either (in fact, it was taken down completely at the time), so all I had was the original subs. Nowadays I do use solo's subs, which are SUCH an improvement, I'm so grateful for them! But whenever a line makes me go "????" or "I don't remember this AT ALL" and looking at the Chinese doesn't clarify things for me, I go and check the original subs and the Viki subs (which I specifically downloaded for checking purposes).

I always think your Cantonese gives you a big advantage, but that may just be my impression. *g*
