That is true! I think I phrased my thoughts poorly, though. I do agree that it's a time loop and of course it always happened that way, but there's always a part of my brain that goes "was there another Kunlun who died (before Zhao Yunlan arrived in the past) and Zhao Yunlan really is impersonating someone who wasn't always/already himself?"
Really I'll have more thoughts about this when we get to the YOHE episodes, as I'll then have more specific references to see why this thought has stuck in my head. xD But it's there! And there being another Kunlun (either a dead person who lived before Zhao Yunlan, or I guess perhaps someone who used his name for quote attribution later) would explain why the quotes about Kunlun don't necessarily sound like Zhao Yunlan.
