Yeah, I think at this point it makes sense for Zhao Yunlan to see Professor Shen as a person and the Envoy as more of a cipher. Even though the Hanga caves have made him see a bit more of the Envoy as a person, that's nowhere near enough yet.

And that's a great point about the scenes with Lao-Chu and seeing Shen Wei as a person while he's being the Envoy!
