I love this scene partly because the sense of exhausted coming-down-after-adrenaline feels so realistic--the immediate emergency is over but there's still a lot to deal with, and the team is trying to get back on their feet mentally/emotionally so as to be ready to cope. - YES! I think you can clearly see the exhaustion on Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan. There's just something in their eyes/facial expressions that scream exhausted.
It also interests me that you see both CSZ and GCC changing--Chu Shuzhi is not only fond of Xiao Guo now but willing to show it in public, while Guo Changcheng is starting to work out the more complex parts of their duties. - YES! Exactly that! Chu Shuzhi is allowing himself to show that he has emotional ties to people, beyond what he typically shows in either stoicism or sarcastic derision XD And yes, poor GCC. Some of that shiny naivety has to wear off a little bit with how real life really is!
Oh, interesting parallel! I feel like it's never really been a big secret that Chu Shuzhi is Hei Pao Shi's man--that as the one Dixingren in the SID, he'd be likely to be loyal to Hei Pao Shi, whether or not actually reporting to him. Also, HPS is working in accordance with the SID (in a sense), while Professor Ouyang's goals very much do not match theirs. - Oo that's a great thought!! Yes, to CSZ being a 'known' factor, for sure, but in regards to goals yes to Professor Ouyang's goals being so very not good. YES! Love it!
<3 <3 <3 - YES! This is how I feel pretty much about it XD XD XD
THank you so much for commenting and reading! I appreciate it so much :D
