Four Kissathon ficlets (various pairings)

I've written four things for undeadrobins' multifandom Kissathon for four different pairings. Something for everyone!

• In the Shadows with a Damaged Heart - 864 words, unrequited Chu Shuzhi/Black-Cloaked Envoy, Teen-rated for themes, pre-canon angst, for shadaras' prompt: devotion.
  He lay in bed spinning idle fantasies—and invariably, his thoughts turned to the Black-Cloaked Envoy.


• Allure - 959 words, Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan established relationship, Teen-rated.
  It was the height of unfairness that Shen Wei refused to so much as kiss Zhao Yunlan until the enhanced charisma power wore off.


• Broken Bottles Form a Star - 575 words, Shen Xi/Zhao Xinci established relationship, G-rated, angst and marital tension, for nnozomi's prompt: not this time.
  On days when they’d butted heads like today, when it came time to go home he always had to stifle a fear—that he’d pushed back too hard, that Shen Xi had finally given up on him. That when he opened the door, she wouldn’t be there.


• Can't Hide This - 688 words, Chu Shuzhi/Guo Changcheng, Teen-rated, for my prompt: AU where Chu Shuzhi wears a mask.
  “Dumbass,” mutters Chu-ge, and Changcheng’s self-consciousness and curiosity combine and escalate to unbearable levels. Is Chu-ge calling him a dumbass in a bad way? Is he mad? It’s so hard to tell with his mask obscuring half his face.
