Mm, yeah, that's definitely a not-tailored outfit! (I've seen images of the tailoring being done onset just before takes, so no wonder that it's not yet done in the proof of concept shots.) The collar pin does make another few appearances, iirc, but never as part of the maximum-formal ensemble. (Shen Wei also starts dressing more casually over the show.) I also heard that the first scene shot was the medicine rubbing one, and while Shen Wei's wearing a pale-ish gray suit, he's not wearing a collar pin or anything.
