Weee, thanks for bringing these vids to Dreamwidth!! First saw his performances on a Facebook fansite and Wenella on YouTube has translations/subtitles if I'm not mistaken.

First song was beautiful but I also loved him rocking on and playing the guitar. Wouldn't mind more of that either.

Yeah, Wenella has translations of the lyrics! Very useful.

I think the second song would have been better if it had been just him, but even so, I liked the visuals much better than the actual song. *g*

Yeah, I thought him performing together with a band was quite nice for a change (I at least haven't seen it before) but I liked the first song a lot more, too. The visuals are always fantastic of course. *ggg*

Honestly, I felt good about him not being the only one to sing off-key this time. Last year was so traumatic for me. But this year, I could take it in stride, because the other singer was also bad, and he didn't have to stand on stage alone.

I also feel that he looks a lot more relaxed with the band than he did alone, and I liked that.

All that said: the first song is beautiful and definitely goes into my playlist.

I have a tin ear and couldn't tell you if someone was singing off-key if my life depended on it, but I found the other singer actively unpleasant to listen to.

Zhu Yilong did look like he was having fun with the band, though, so that's definitely something.
