With the angle of the left nose pad (and the right temple also looks bent to me? The tip is not lying flat) I had assumed that the glasses had been hit or whipped right off his face, which splattered blood on them, and then Ye Zun picked them up and set them politely aside.
Aw, I just wanted to imagine Ye Zun pausing his torture session to tenderly remove the glasses from gege's face before resuming. But yeah, them getting whipped off is probably more realistic.
