Possibly. I think he and Zhao Yunlan would have different answers to the trolley problem and variants, anyway.
OT, but I'm now imagining Shen Wei's answer to the trolley problem. It would probably involve self-sacrificial dark energy kabooms and trolley derailment at a minimum.

I suspect Shen Wei's dream Zhao Yunlan might be a bit better at sitting still and doing what he's told :P
He'd probably act a lot like Kunlun, i.e. smile and praise Shen Wei, maybe with added physical contact. Shen Wei would be thrilled at the appreciation.
