Yeah, I was wondering if it's a politeness thing on Shen Wei's part - like, he says 'enlist' but because of the connotations of the word it's clear to both of them what he actually means is 'trap'. Doubt we'll ever know... And it's early enough in canon that Shen Wei might just be saying wrong stuff because he's not supposed to know exactly how things work anyway.
