In a latter episode we find out that Zhao Xinci was in hospital having an operation on Reunion Night. (That's the night Bai Suxia dies) So possibly his heart trouble is supposed to be pretty bad. This is another bit of timeline that confuses me.
I guess he did actually have an old injury/heart condition acting up, or it was scheduled surgery? I'll have to look into it when we get there.

Also I love the Reunion Night dinner. Its a lovely found family moment.
