I love Ya Qing, she's fabulous! I love that she's super not into all these emo boys and also isn't afraid to actually change her mind about some things - there's so many villains who would go down with a lost cause, and I love that she's not one of them.

I agree than the cgi-tree person and Ying Chun are the same person.

I haven't rewatched this episode yet but I remember my heart just breaking for poor Shen Wei. And I love that he gets to make mistakes and get called on them: it's such better story telling, and I love that it means there's actual STAKES to his decisions. We know he can get stuff wrong. He isn't the magic solution to all plot problems. He's a character, a person. I love it and him so much!
