The show might've been plagued by budget cuts and schedule fuckups, but it delivers on a lot of things! Going back for the rewatch, I've been positively surprised by the emotional thematic story continuity of the whole thing, the excellent foreshadowing, and also the cinematography. There's also a lot of stuff where it's at the very least okay. The people ragging on it are in a number of cases over-reaching.
