You know, I just rewatched this episode for the first time and when Yunlan talked about how people change after losing a loved one in the cave (I believe he says: I know people like that.) I immediately thought that he is referring to his father. We got the tiny flashbacks to his mother‘s death earlier (though at this point we don‘t know that‘s what they are).
