Guardian rewatch notes: Episode 23
At last my Episode 23 rewatch notes are up!
a. Chu Shuzhi and Lin Jing are turned away from the Mad Science Lab. Lin Jing says to Chu Shuzhi "Why don't you be in charge?" and then 帮我把出勤费结了. I *think* this actually means something like "Help me cover my work expenses", but I can't figure out how that follows from CSZ being in charge, or why CSZ's sarcastic response is "Do you believe as soon as I'm in charge I'll give you sick leave?"
b. Daqing and ZYL are talking about Shen Wei, and ZYL says 个性太深沉, "His personality is too deep." What are the associations with this phrase? Too secretive? Too complex? Too sophisticated?
c. In ZYL's apartment. He's been napping, because he's under his bedspread-blanket and checking his phone. He gets up, sees Shen Wei, and says 大半夜的饿醒了
Is he saying HE woke up because he was hungry? Or just woke in the night? Or asking if Shen Wei woke up?
