Hehe yes he probably is! In the novel CSZ is obsessed with minesweeper, iirc. Though I also think it would be pretty funny if CSZ is actually listening with rapt attention, he just doesn't want to show it because it would ruin his reputation xD
I always felt he played up the flirtatious side of himself and only let the SID crew see the superficial side of it when he taked about relationships.
I agree! Which makes it hard for us to figure out, when they're talking about him, what's real and what's just their perception. I think also the SID even realizes to some extent — if not at the beginning of the series then definitely as things get going — that the person ZYL portrays himself to be is a bit of a mask, they're just not going to say it and break his illusion.

The question is whether he knows his own "investigations" are bullshit yet or if he's still clinging to plausible deniability xD
